Among the Personal Data collected by boosha.co.uk, either independently or through third parties, are: Tracking Tool; Usage Data; email; first name; last name.

Full details on each type of Personal Data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy or through specific informational texts displayed before the collection of the Data itself.
Personal Data may be freely provided by the User or, in the case of Usage Data, automatically collected during the use of boosha.it.
Unless otherwise specified, all Data requested by boosha.it is mandatory. If the User refuses to communicate them, it may be impossible for boosha.it to provide the Service. In cases where boosha.it indicates certain Data as optional, Users are free to refrain from communicating such Data, without this having any consequence on the availability of the Service or its operation.
Users who have any doubts about which Data are mandatory are encouraged to contact the Data Controller.
Any use of Cookies – or other tracking tools – by boosha.it or the owners of third party services used by boosha.it has the purpose of providing the Service requested by the User, in addition to the additional purposes described in this document and in the Cookie Policy.

Mode of treatment

The Owner adopts appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data.

In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, other parties involved in the organization of boosha.it (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, Data Processors by the Data Controller may have access to the Data. Retention period

Unless otherwise stated in this document, Personal Data is processed and kept for the time required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be kept for a longer period due to any legal obligations or based on Users’ consent.

Personal Data are collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

Contact User

Contact Form (boosha.com)

The User, by filling out the contact form with their Data, consents to their use to respond to requests for information, quotes, or any other nature indicated by the header of the form.

Personal Data Processed: last name; email; first name.

Mailing list or newsletter (boosha.co.uk)

By registering for the mailing list or newsletter, the User’s email address is automatically added to a list of contacts to whom email messages containing information, including information of a commercial and promotional nature, relating to boosha.co.uk may be sent. The User’s email address may also be added to this list as a result of registering with boosha.co.uk or after making a purchase.

Personal Data Processed: last name; email; first name.

Management of User Databases

These types of services allow the Owner to build User profiles from an email address, name or any other information the User provides to boosha.co.uk, as well as to track the User’s activities through statistical features. This Personal Data may also be cross-referenced with publicly available information about the User (such as profiles on social networks) and used to build private profiles that the Data Controller may view and use to improve boosha.co.uk.
Some of these services may also allow the scheduled sending of messages to the User, such as emails based on specific actions taken on boosha.co.uk.

Klavyio (Klavyio, Inc.)

Klavyio is a User database management service provided by Klavyio, Inc.

This type of services is functional for the centralized management of tags or scripts used on boosha.co.uk.
The use of these services involves the flow of User Data through them and, where appropriate, their retention.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

Support request management and contact

This type of services allows boosha.it to manage support and contact requests received by email or through other tools, such as the contact form.
The Personal Data processed depends on the information provided by the User within the messages and the tool used for communication (e.g. email address).

Zendesk (Zendesk, Inc.)

Zendesk is a support and contact request management service provided by Zendesk, Inc.

Personal Data processed: various types of Data as specified by the privacy policy of the service.

Interaction with live chat platforms

This type of services allows you to interact with live chat platforms operated by third parties, directly from the pages of boosha.co.uk, in order to be able to contact and be contacted by the support service of boosha.co.uk.
In the event that a service is installed to interact with live chat platforms, it is possible that, even if Users do not use the service, it will collect Usage Data related to the pages where it is installed. In addition, live chat conversations may be recorded.

Zendesk Chat (Zendesk, Inc.)

Zendesk Chat is a service for interacting with the Zendesk live chat platform, provided by Zendesk, Inc.

This type of service allows interactions with support and feedback platforms, operated by third parties, directly from the pages of boosha.co.uk.
In the event that a service for interaction with support and feedback platforms is installed, it is possible that, even if Users do not use the service, it will collect Usage Data related to the pages where it is installed.

Zendesk Widget (Zendesk, Inc.).

The Zendesk Widget is a service for interacting with the Zendesk support and feedback platform, provided by Zendesk Inc.

Traffic optimization and distribution

This type of services allows boosha.co.uk to distribute its content via servers located in the territory and optimize its performance.
The Personal Data processed depend on the characteristics and mode of implementation of these services, which by their nature filter communications between boosha.co.uk and the User’s browser.
Given the distributed nature of this system, it is difficult to determine the places to which content is transferred, which may contain Personal Data of the User.

Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.)

Cloudflare is a traffic optimization and distribution service provided by Cloudflare Inc.
The way Cloudflare is integrated means that it filters all boosha.co.uk traffic, i.e., communications between boosha.co.uk and the User’s browser, while also allowing the collection of statistical data about it.

Advertisement

This type of service allows User Data to be used for marketing communication purposes. These communications are displayed on boosha.co.uk in the form of banners and other forms of advertising, also related to the User’s interests.
This does not mean that all Personal Data is used for this purpose. Data and conditions of use are set out below.
Some of the services below may use Tracking Tools to identify the User or use the technique of behavioral retargeting, i.e. displaying advertisements tailored to the User’s interests and behavior, also detected outside boosha.co.uk. Generally, services of this type offer the possibility to disable such tracking. Facebook’s Similar Audience (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)

Facebook’s Similar Audience is an advertising and behavioral targeting service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that uses Data collected through Facebook’s Custom Audience service in order to show advertisements to Users with similar behaviors to Users who are already on a Custom Audience list based on their previous use of boosha.co.uk or their interaction with relevant content through Facebook’s applications and services.
Based on this Data, Custom Ads will be shown to Users suggested by Facebook’s Similar Audience.

Users can opt-out of Facebook’s Tracking Tools for ad personalization by visiting this opt-out page .

Google Ad Manager (Google Ireland Limited)

Google Ad Manager is an advertising service provided by Google Ireland Limited with which the Owner may run advertising campaigns jointly with external advertising networks with which the Owner, if not otherwise specified herein, has no direct relationship.

This service uses the “DoubleClick” Cookie, which tracks the use of boosha.co.uk and the User’s behavior in relation to advertisements, products and services offered.

The User can decide at any time to disable all DoubleClick cookies by going to: Ads Settings.

Similar Audience Segments is an advertising and behavioral targeting service provided by Google Ireland Limited that uses Google Ads Remarketing Data to show advertisements to Users with similar behaviors to other Users who are already on the remarketing list due to their previous use of boosha.co.uk.
Based on this Data, personalized ads will be shown to Users suggested by Google Ads Similar Audience Segments.

Users who do not want to be included in similar audience segments can opt out and disable the use of Ad Tracking Tools by visiting the: Google Ads Settings.

Facebook Personalized Audiences is a remarketing and behavioral targeting service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that connects boosha.co.uk activity with Facebook’s advertising network.

Users can opt-out of Facebook’s Tracking Tools for ad personalization by visiting this opt-out page.

This Google information may include User location, search history, YouTube history, and Data from Google’s partner siiti and is used to provide aggregate, anonymous information about Users’ cross-sectional behaviors.

If a User falls under the association described above, he or she may access and/or delete such Data through the MyActivity feature provided by Google.

Facebook Ads conversion tracking (Facebook pixel) is a statistics service provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that links data from the Meta ad network with actions taken within boosha.co.uk. The Facebook pixel monitors conversions that can be attributed to Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network ads.

Legal basis for processing

The Owner processes Personal Data related to the User if one of the following conditions exists:

  • the User has given consent for one or more specific purposes; Note: In some jurisdictions, the Data Controller may be authorized to process Personal Data without the need for the User’s consent or another of the legal bases specified below, as long as the User does not object (“opt-out”) to such processing. However, this does not apply if the processing of Personal Data is governed by European legislation on the protection of Personal Data;
  • processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the User and/or the execution of pre-contractual measures;
  • processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject;
  • the processing is necessary for the performance of a task of public interest or the exercise of public authority vested in the Controller;
  • processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Owner or third parties.

However, it is always possible to ask the Data Controller to clarify the concrete legal basis of each processing and in particular to specify whether the processing is based on law, required by a contract or necessary to conclude a contract.

Additional information on shelf life

Unless otherwise stated in this document, Personal Data is processed and kept for the time required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be kept for a longer period due to any legal obligations or based on Users’ consent.

Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Data Controller and the User will be retained until the performance of that contract is completed.
  • Personal Data collected for purposes attributable to the legitimate interest of the Data Controller will be retained until such interest is satisfied. The User may obtain further information regarding the legitimate interest pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.

When processing is based on the User’s consent, the Controller may retain Personal Data longer until that consent is revoked. In addition, the Controller may be required to retain Personal Data for a longer period in compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority.

At the end of the retention period, the Personal Data will be deleted. Therefore, at the expiration of this period the right of access, deletion, rectification and the right to Data portability can no longer be exercised.

User Rights

Users have the right to obtain information regarding the legal basis for the transfer of Data abroad including to any international organization governed by international law or formed by two or more countries, such as the UN, as well as regarding the security measures taken by the Data Controller to protect their Data.

Users are reminded that, should their Data be processed for direct marketing purposes, they may object to the processing at any time, free of charge and without providing any reasons. If Users object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the Personal Data are no longer processed for such purposes. How to exercise rights

In order to exercise their rights, Users may address a request to the contact details of the Controller indicated in this document. The request is free of charge and the Controller will respond as soon as possible, in any case within one month, providing the User with all the information required by law. Any rectification, deletion or restriction of processing will be communicated by the Controller to each of the recipients, if any, to whom the Personal Data has been transmitted, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The Data Controller shall notify the User of such recipients if the User so requests.

The individual using boosha.co.uk who, except where otherwise specified, coincides with the Data Subject.

The natural person to whom the Personal Data refers.
