Result Consulting sends business contact messages on LinkedIn to develop business opportunities. Volume: about 72,000 messages per year.
The process required considerable time. Each message required research on the contact, profile analysis, text customization. On average, 7 minutes per message.
Multiplied by 72,000 messages, this means thousands of hours spent on a repetitive but necessary activity. Time that could be invested in more valuable strategic activities.
Boosha automated the process. Result: from 7 minutes to 1 minute per message. Estimated annual savings: about €150,000.
The initial situation
Result Consulting managed a structured but manual process for contact activity on LinkedIn.
The standard process for each message:
- Open the contact’s LinkedIn profile
- Read work experience, industry, current role
- Identify points of interest or connection
- Writing a personalized message
- Verify tone and correctness
- Send
Average time: 7 minutes. For an operator who handles contacts daily, this means 5-6 hours a day just to prepare and send messages.
The concrete consequences:
At 72,000 messages per year, the total time spent on this activity was enormous. Resources taken away from activities that require human judgment: qualifying promising leads, managing complex conversations, developing contact strategies.
It was needed to automate the repetitive part while maintaining the personalization that makes contact effective.
The implemented solution
We have developed a system that automates information extraction and message generation. Final control remains human to ensure quality.
The three-step process
Step 1: Automatic extraction of information
An automatic extraction (scraping) system analyzes the contact lists provided by Result Consulting. It collects all the information available on LinkedIn for each contact:
- Current role and company
- Previous work experience
- Business sector
- Skills highlighted
- Recent posts or activities
Before, this step took 3-4 minutes per contact done manually. After: automatic, information collected in seconds for dozens of contacts in parallel.
Step 2: Analysis and generation of the customized message
The AI analyzes the collected information and comes up with a personalized message. It maintains the Result Consulting-specific tone of voice that was defined in training.
Concrete example: contact working as HR manager in manufacturing company.
AI identifies:
- Sector: manufacturing
- Role: human resources
- Possible interest: recruiting process optimization or training
Generate custom message that:
- It refers to the specific field
- Mentions common challenges for HR in manufacturing
- Proposes relevant value for that role
- Maintains professional but direct tone of Result
Time: a few seconds instead of 3-4 minutes of manual writing.
Step 3: Control and manual submission
The messages generated are entered into a shared Google sheet. A Result Consulting sales manager:
- Review each message
- Makes changes if necessary
- Send manually
This phase is still manual for two reasons:
- Ensure control over the final message
- Correct any AI errors
Time for review and sending: about 1 minute per message.
Why manual control (for now)
We chose to maintain human control in the last phase. It is a prudent approach that has yielded excellent results.
After one month of use, the correctness rates of AI-generated messages are close to 100%. The operator almost always approves the message without changes or with minor adjustments.
This allows us to move confidently toward the next stage: full automation of control and dispatch as well. But only after verifying quality under real conditions.
How it works in daily practice
Typical morning in Result Consulting:
Before automation:
- Operator starts day with list of 50 contacts
- 7 minutes per contact = about 6 hours of work
- Possible to manage only those 50 contacts in the day
With automation:
- System processes list of 50 contacts in minutes
- Generate 50 personalized messages
- Operator reviews in 50 minutes (1 minute each)
- Time freed up: more than 5 hours for other activities
What the operator does with the freed up time:
It is no longer for writing messages, but for:
- Manage responses and ongoing conversations
- Qualifying more promising leads
- Develop more sophisticated contact strategies
- Analyze response rates and optimize approaches
The result is a more productive team that handles higher volumes with better quality.
The measurable results
Time saved per message
Before: 7 minutes (search + write + send) After: 1 minute (review + send)
Savings: 6 minutes per message, about 85% of the time.
Annual impact
72,000 messages × 6 minutes saved = 432,000 minutes = 7,200 hours
At the average hourly cost of a qualified salesperson, this translates into about €150,000 saved per year.
Increased operational capacity
With the same team, Result Consulting can now:
- Manage higher volumes of contacts
- Spend more time on qualified conversations
- Experiment with different messaging strategies
- Respond more quickly to interested leads
Quality maintained, indeed improved
A legitimate question: does automation compromise personalization?
The data say no. Response rates have remained stable or even improved. Why?
Consistency in quality
AI does not have bad days. It maintains the same level of quality for message number 1 and message number 1,000. It never forgets to include key elements of personalization.
Human focus on optimization
With more time available, the team can:
- Analyze which messages work best
- Testing different approaches systematically
- Refine tone for specific segments
This leads to continuous improvement impossible before due to lack of time.
The next phase: full automation
We are already working on the next evolution. The data collected show that AI is reliable. The next step is to automate the final check and dispatch as well.
This does not mean eliminating human supervision completely. But to move from message-by-message supervision to statistical supervision and intervention only on special cases.
Expected result: further time reduction while maintaining quality and customization.
Applicable to other business activities
This solution works for any activity that requires:
- Customized business contacts on a large scale
- Prospect information search before contact
- Messages tailored to the recipient’s profile
- High volume that makes completely manual approach untenable
Sectors that benefit: lead generation agencies, recruiting firms, B2B consulting, professional services sales, partnership development.
The principle is universal: automate research and first draft, maintain human control over quality and strategic decisions.
